.. _installation: Installation ============ Installing the HiRISE DTM Importer add-on is simple and straightforward: 1. If you haven't already, :download:`download<../HiRISE-DTM-Importer.zip>` the add-on. .. warning:: This link isn't working right now. Get the file locally. 2. Open Blender. 3. Navigate to *File > User Preferences* .. figure:: /_images/installation/user-preferences.png :align: center 4. Navigate to the *Add-ons* tab .. figure:: /_images/installation/addons-tab.png :align: center 5. Select *Install from File...* .. figure:: /_images/installation/install-from-file.png :align: center 6. Navigate to where you downloaded the add-on file and select it .. figure:: /_images/installation/select-addon.png :align: center 7. Click *Install from File...* .. figure:: /_images/installation/install-addon.png :align: center 8. This should bring you back to the *Add-ons* tab in User Preferences. At the moment, the DTM importer is registered as a add-on in testing, so it won't be visible by default. Select *Testing*, under *Supported Level*, and *User*, under *Categories*. .. figure:: /_images/installation/make-addon-visible.png :align: center 9. The add-on should be visible now, but grayed-out.
